looks like a great project. the worst thing about finishing one is you want to do another. gets addictive.
i see you live in the country then. i love driving through the rural areas just looking in paddocks just hoping to see an old ford like yours sitting there and offering the guy cash. my wife spots me doing it all the time if we head away on long trips.

Shall I give you my address?

It's an interesting project - lets just say that. One day though - I will hopefully be driving it knowing everything is right with it.

Readymix Coupe
30,500 genuine miles.
Stock as a rock except for the wheels and tyres.
It has air, steer, sunroof, electric windows, cloth inserts, locking fuel cap, boot release, rear louvre, front & rear spoilers, halogen headlights (still original) radio/tape player, vinyl roof, protection pack, sports wheels (too skinny and only used for some shows) and unfortunately FMX.
This was a special build by Ford. Only GT ever painted Readymix Orange (Y345) in any model.

What a magnificent coupe!! Great colour, I'm amazed Ford only ever did one in this colour. Just love the vinyl roof too, it just sets it off nicely.

Was this car at the Hardtop anniversary at Echuca last year?
I'm sure it was at the same motel as us.

G'day George
I like it with the Option 52's as well but only from the side.
It looks a bit skinny from the rear with those big guards.
It also drives a lot nicer with the big wheels and tyres.
That's what she tells me anyway.
Cheers
Keith

The guy who supplied my vinyl roof sent me a few pics he had of a group of Landau's out for a cruise - assume its Melbourne area as thats were he is from... He thought these were taken about 10 years ago, but wasnt 100%. Really nice to see a few Landau's out together!!! Wouldnt see that much these days I bet!

Enjoy! (Oh yeh if one of these is yours...hope its ok to post a pic here! I cant really make out the number plates so thought it wouldnt be a drama - mods delete if you need to)

What spoiler has that the blue one got on the front there - first pic next to the white one? Maybe I should talk to Ken about that....?

bye
Lisa

Hi Lisa.
From the front it looks similar to a cobra spoiler, whilst from the side it looks like an XA GT spoiler.
Either that or my eyes are stuffed!

I've tried zooming in to read the number plate of the first one to no avail.
It looks like Stratosphere grey to me. I wonder if it's Auslandau's car?

fair chance - they are def Vic cars judging by the black and white number plates, along with the green and white plates

Could be Auslandau's car actually! he would know if he has a look surely

As for you Pat - couldnt you use soemthing else to hauling - leave my WG cousin at home in the shed. Take ur Landau next time!
