Howdy all! Just joined up the other day after lurking for a couple weeks.
I take delivery of my used (March 05 - 33,000km on the clock) BA MkII XR8 Ute in Shockwave on Thursday! My new toy comes complete with XR leather seats, hard lid and factory 18s on it and I can't wait! I'll chuck some pics once I get it home Awesome forum - learnt alot already! Methinks I'll be heading out to Herrod fairly soon for a few bolt-ons |

Hello all.
Name is Christina, obviously. Coming from Sydney, i'm 17 and 5 months and a few weeks, so I guess i'm an annoying P plater. Anyway, I don't drive a Ford, I drive a Commodore, but I hope I am still welcome here! Good to mingle with others, regardless of car type :1syellow1 . As long as they aren't ricers... hehe. Anyway, my Dad has an ED which I did a few hours on when I was learning, good old ED, gotta love em'. Anyway, glad to have joined. |

Hey Guys!
Here's the quick rundown... I'm 19, 2nd year apprentice panel beater (at regal crash repairs - SA), and am looking for a new car... My previous car was a 1995 Mitsubshi KS Verada, which well I stacked it, repaired it, and well finance was in my ex g/f's name and now she gets to keep the box of crap... These days I am chassing a EBII/ED/EF Fairmont (peferbly a Ghia), after all I do approx 1,000km round trip every 3rd weekend :o.... I've loved the old EA/EB/ED's since my father's old EA Fairmont which he got back in '91 and wrote it off when a skippy got in his way in '01... then he got a purple EBII Fairmont with only 100,000kms on the clock... And a work mate took me for a cruise in a EF GLi on gas, and wowa I was suprised with how well it went considering it was on LPG... neways, I look foward to hearing from ya's! -skotty |

Welcome Skotty. Cant go wrong with an old e series. Heaps around cheap and those in resonable condition have all the head gasket, other problems sorted. If anything....go more the the EB and onwards. Better engine and trans in the update aswell! Good luck with it | [/url] |

Hi Everyone
Found these forums just before chrissy and think they are fantastic. Lots of helpful hints and friendly people. Proud owner of a BA XR6 Turbo in Blueprint, it is the 3rd Ford I have owned (previously owned a Laser and an ED falcon). |

Hello all, just joined and after spending a few days browsing the site have finally got around to posting. I really don't have a one eyed view of auto brands having owned all 3 majors. Current ride is a Territory Turbo Ghia, love it! Now looking for somebody reliable in or around Melbourne to have a go at the ECU.

Howdy all
Great forum! I've already posted for some technical suggestions and got a response quickly - nice to see! About me... I'm in the ACT and currently driving a '65 Mustang which is almost stock (it's RHD and has just had the 289 rebuilt by Graeme Silk) and is my pride and joy. I'm glad to be here and hope to get into some great conversations, pick up some expert tips and hopefully make some online friends while I'm here. Cheers everyone. Stu |

Hi everyone, just joined today (after mum saying I can't use her log on anymore).
Thought I better say hello. She actually told me I had to : I am hoping to buy a ute after I turn 18 later this year but not sure if I will be allowed. But mum has offered me her car when she buys another one, at the moment she has the ef xr6. oh and had the lecture about no sms posting and to spell check, so will try hard not to slip lol |
