I then bought a big house and ran my own for 3 years prior to getting hitched. When you are in charge you soon see how some people really don't give a toss about anything or anyone other than themselves.

I started with a 1pg contract for my house mates, and by the end it grew to 2 pgs with 1cm margins and size 11 font.

Find a place that has rules about quantity of visitors, parking, how 'whole house' events are planned / run etc.

Don't have rules in place, people do what they want.

Did your room have a lock?? Never stay in a place that does not allow you to lock your own door.
Thought everyone should know this issue has since been resolved thanks for the advice although l won't be living in a share house again l just can't bring myself to trust other room mates anymore, Yellow festiva the room was locked but after some "friendly" questioning l found out that they had a master key l didn't know about amongst other things l'm happy though, these people have now been black listed and were also kicked out, and l got compensated nicely too. Oh and the springs in the car a going very nicely.

people who cannot negotiate getting around a public transport bus and insist on sitting behind the dam thing until it moves, then the cycle continues all over again. In the mean time, no one in the RH lane wants to let you in because it means they lose a position in peak hour traffic. God help them if they lose a position.....

at my local shopping centre they have special trolleys whose wheels will lock up if they go outside a boundary zone. So you get a lot of empty trolleys sitting at the edge of the premises and the poor trolley person has to go out with their special tool to unlock the wheels on about a dozen of these trolleys that thoughtless people have left there.

I don't know what it is about trolleys that makes people so averse to putting them away. I always put mine away and if the car park is empty enough I will hop on and ride it to the trolley bay. Good fun.

People who can't park their big new fancy 4WD between the white lines in works car park.
You know the ones....the ones that have never ever seen a spec of dirt in its life.
So I have to drive 50 meters away to the next free spot because this 4WD driving ******** hasn't left enough space to park next to him.

you wouldnt be the only one who would get annoyed at that. I have heard some who have a habit of parking badly or greedy for more than one car park have had their car keyed/damaged due to their own incompetence/arrogance.

Some people need to realize just because you drive a 4wd doesn't excuse you from parking within the lines like everyone else. If you have that much of an issue parking a big @55 bus like that, perhaps park on the road or in an area where you are least likely to offend.

I drive a 4WD however it does go off road and I mean further than the nature strip however I do agree with you on the ones that are Toorak Tractors. In the theme of your post when I pick the kids up from after school care the amount of mums that can't park first go their Corolla/I30/ Hyundia Getz sized cars. No joke it takes some of them 4 goes to get it into the marked parking bay.

I saw once an old man driving a Getz managed to park the car with the front left wheel on one line of the parking bay and the right rear on the opposite line. How hard is it to park a Getz?

Some people just park so badly and then don't care when they get out and see it is painfully obvious they failed at parking.

When someone overtakes you on a multi-lane road, pulls into your braking distance from the car in front and just simply turns off into a side road.

People who pull a pen out of the drawer tray / cup holder thinggo, try to use it and fail, try to scribble with it on scrap paper and fail, then put it back in the drawer or cup again so the process can be repeated....

The know-it-alls.

People with the "mine's bigger than yours" complex or ppl who just have this need to one-up everything someone says. Things like:
1. what something cost (of course theirs cost way more)
2. the time when..... (of course their time when...... has to be much more interesting to beat it)
3. someone getting a warning for speeding (of course they drove way faster than that when they were stopped)
4. the crazy lady who stopped by a friend's workplace asking for her check when she doesn't even work there (and of course, their crazy lady story goes that there's a crazy lady who takes showers in her front lawn and it just happened to be the other day)
5. a concert we all want to go to (and yes, they had backstage access AND front row seats to another concert)

.................and there's more. Come on, it's not a competition!

A variation of the "know it all", the "I'm right and you're wrong and even though you've proved me wrong I will still push my agenda despite otherwise"

My wife works with one of these in her new job and he annoys me and I don't even work with the guy.

Did I mention he was on the Biggest Loser and uses that as leverage to the argument? Even though he put back on double what he lost.

When you go out for dinner at a really nice place and come out to your car that you spent two hours detailing that afternoon to find some lowlife has peed and spat all over it. Now I'm glad it didn't get keyed this time but everytime something like this happens it makes me want to sell all my nice things. It a very upperclass suburb as well, can't believe some drunk decided it would be a good idea.

Whingers who whine to the local council all the time. We have one just down the street, he was constantly complaining about our cars, then he moved onto the neighbours’ dog. Our neighbour put up one of those car tents to protect his car that wouldn’t fit in the garage, and the whinger complained to the council and made him take it down.

My wife came home from work (she works for a national ladies retail chain in our local shopping centre) yesterday to tell me that head office had called them regarding a complaint made to them about the store.

Was it in regard to poor service, or the that the store was messy or that the salespeople were wearing clothes that weren't available int he store??

No, the person had rung head office to complain that the clothes on the mannequin in the front window did not fit properly int that they were too loose.!!!!!!!!!!

Seems to me that someone had something a little bit loose....and it wasn't their clothes

No, the person had rung head office to complain that the clothes on the mannequin in the front window did not fit properly int that they were too loose.!!!!!!!!!!

Seems to me that someone had something a little bit loose....and it wasn't their clothes

You would be surprised at the sorts of complaints people make towards retailers, or anyone in a customer service role...

That's the tip of the iceberg.. and yes, a lot of them are moments.

Yep, I used to work for David Jones. Got a complaint about the toilets. DJ's is real fussy about their toilets.

Not fussy enough though. I overheard this woman complaining to a female colleague that the paper was "rough to the touch and not very absorbent" FFS!

Wow.

I can see all complaints made by tenants with regards to issues in their workplace and I will guarantee 97% of them are petty. Also got spammed by some people who wanted a recently closed Donut King reopened in a shopping centre.

Also one weird request one time with being asked to join a swingers party complete with NSFW pictures.

Agreed, being privy to official complaints made towards the company i work for some are really just borderline whinging.

Also the the day to day verbal complaints have me scratching my head sometimes.
