Hi everyone, i am going to see if i can book my car in for a set of extractors and an exhaust tomorrow. now i have been told that the standard ford cat's do flow very well and there is no need for a 'high flow' replacement. I was just wondering if this is true? what have most people done when they change exhausts? cheers

thanks guys. other than maybe an edit, thats all i am planing to do mechanically to the car for a while, if at all. so it will stay NA and just have the exhaust. the main reason i ask is that from what i know the cat is fairly expencive to replace.

Just got the standard cat in mine too and seems to do the trick and your right, i was quoted $300 for a high flow cat and couldn't justify the cash.
