The best thing about this car is that it's street driven and regestered, i've actually seen the guy driving it on the road!

awesome although the cage needed to run a 9 second pass under andra rules may soon be outlawed making every 9 second car un roadworthy.

stupid i know considering there are cars driving around with no roof.
i hear in nsw 4 point bolt in cage is the max you can go with new rules coming in.

Does anyone know what gas system that is? Link?

Also, i see he has a twin exhaust setup? I would of though going from a single to a twin would increase Back pressure? A no no for turbos?

Thats an awesome time though, well done. Fastest 4.0L EA-AU Motor?

From what I've seen of this car it launches when the light goes green. The cars had plenty of R&D go into it.

Awesome achievement, well done to John for a great drive job and to the rest of the crew involved for getting it to the sensational level it is now at.

Just to correct Fullboost though. The car isn't the first LPG powered car to run a 9 and it wasn't the first to run a 10 either. Quite a few years ago in approximately 2001, Brett Glover's rotary powered Datsun ran firstly into the tens, then a year or two later the nines and more recently has run as quick as 8.80, the West Aussie guys may be able to confirm this.

I'm not trying to play down Jason & John's achievement as it was magnificent. Having said all that it was to the best of our knowledge the first genuine street legal LPG car into the 10's and 9's. You could not get a better result than that. Well done guys!

I think it was talked up due to being a full sized Falcon not a lunch box on wheels and I'm also pretty sure it's EPA legal.
