Some of those old Merc sedans (240D) size and shape make good cheap biodiesel (SVO) projects.

At a wrecking yard?
![]() Seriously I think there's a small 'collection' there, the landrovers, bmws and a couple of good mercs that was probably the collection of someone who owned an auto dismantlers - the rest is their stock! Good on them for saving it all from the crushers, but the majority probably got for next to nothing as parts/stock when they failed a MOT is my guess. I'm not saying they're worth little now, and again, good on the owner for saving them, but besides the bmws, merc and landrovers they probably have a lot wrong with them that got them off the road at to a wrecker in the first place 20-30 years ago, and a lot of parts missing as they were sold as stock. |

Looks like a few different collections combined, some of the old mercs came from somewhere with Pidgeons. probably been sitting in that warehouse for a couple of years from the level of dust all arriving at the same time.
