Hmmmmm. This may ba a dumb statement, but have you tried the second key incase the transponder in the 1st has crapped out for some reason.

Not yet but it is is a lot older and not been

used for ages.

Will try it if I find it.

I even locked and unlocked the car with its regular key and no problems except for as I described earlier. TIA
