I dont think speed was a factor as his wife and child was driving in her car behind him, maby something just broke, anyway "AMEN" to them both.

I can only go on what I heard on the radio, I put this thread up out of respect, not on car models or age.

Link to the story in the local paper http://www.expressadvocate.com.au/ar.../348_news.html

As stated above speed NOT a factor.

My condolences to all involved, a sad event indeed

A Central Coast Ford enthusiast said the type of car involved, modelled on a 1934 T-bucket Ford, was classed as a hot rod and usually built from scratch.

``It's a show car, it's not a hoon car,'' the enthusiast said. ``It would be very out of character for the driver to be doing something stupid in this type of vehicle.''

I love this , he is classed as an enthusiast, but he can't tell a 32 from a 34 and the fact that you can't get as 34 T bucket. I wish the news papers would get there facts straight.
