Question Boot lip spoiler questions

Im looking at getting a boot lip spoiler (Ive finally found one for sale!) to replace the ugly rubber one on my EB. The paint is stuffed and I want it gone (I like the spoilerless look).
Has anyone done this before or does anyone know if the lip spoiler will cover the holes left behind by the standard one? (This one here, excuse the crappy photo):

Also, what is the lip made from? Is it solid or a rubbery material like the one on my car?

Thanks guys.

It should cover it, they go a fair way in.

They are rubber, so you'll need to prime it with a flexable primer before you paint it.

Lol, I dont know if your being serious or not.
I think they look quite good for a stock wheel, but theyre in pretty bad shape (suffered a bit of curbing by previous owners) and because they dont fill the arches enough, they dont make the car look as low. But sometime in the coming weeks ill be getting some bigger rims to replace them.

Theres some better photos here in the EA-ED show n shine thread.

Continuing the off topic posts:
Nice wheels Sam, they'd look awesome on ya ED :P Curious as to why they have "speedy" centrecaps though, when I know they're genuine?

2 of the genuine ones were missing, so i got a hold of the speedy ones at the time. They look better in 18's... dont they Jared :nutsycuck Wonder if they ever came out in 19's? That'd look wicked!

just sucks that the inners were the same and only the outers differed between the rims.
would look even better if the centres were bigger.
do you mean you had 2 speedy centrecaps? or 2 speedy rims?
know where u can still buy the rims? or outers?
