Found out from Ford that the Sync version with Applink is 1.1. My 2012 Focus has version 1.0 and there's no upgrade. Their website is confusing as hell because it doesn't mention these different versions - just says applink available on select models.
What a bunch of bollocks though having a 1.1 version and not allowing 1.0 users to upgrade. Goons on the 13 number didn't even know what Applink was. Sad that such a good car is let down by Sync. POS crashes every 3 weeks and I have to pull the fuse or no iPod or streaming bluetooth. |

Yea pretty annoyed.
Mines a 2014 and missed out on it by 2 months.. Applink shows up, though just says no apps installed. |
