Default Do you like this AU Falcon coupe concept?

I drew it up in my spare time, what do you think?

From my design background perspective:
Lower edge of rear window doesn't suit/work, it might work on a BA or BG/F whatever as it references similar shapes on their tail and head lights (I'm not interested in newer falcons so don't know their designation)
Forming more of a point for the rear of the 1/4 window may suit the AU better
Have you stretched the doors?
Good work though

I agree with jpblue...I also think it looks a bit strange how the hip line curves above the rear wheel arch.

I love the idea though, and the rest of it looks awesome!! I'd love one lol

Thanks! I have thought to do a 2-door LWB next.

jpblue1000, I stretched the doors and reversed the vertical door line, and moved the B pillar back. Added bonnet bulge, lowered the roof, reworked the rear windows, lifted the waist line, lifted the rear lights, added a subtle two-tone effect. I based the waist kick line on the early Mustangs.

Thanks for your technical comments. The actual AU coupes that were made in the metal had pointed/sharp angles for the rear side window lines, so I went with something different.

I think the rear needs to drop down like the 350z

What's the rear headroom and legroom like in a 350Z? Looks quite cramped. Not much of a boot? I still think of being practical.

Nope, haven't seen that coupe for a long time. I simply modified one of my T series graphics to make the coupe.

Here's my take on the LWB, turned out kinda Brooklands-ish and probably quite ugly to some! And also included is a slight revision of the earlier coupe. All for a bit of fun!

There is none, 2 seater coup.

Your designs remind me of like an XC coupe or TC cortina how the rear window angles up,

I like the AU coupe, i think the secret to a good looking coup is the dome shape,

look at a VT and then a VT monaro

Yes, I recently did a Cortina poster and rediscovered how cool the Cortinas were, especially the 6 cylinder ones with the bonnet bulge. I remember Michael Simcoe saying how it was the roofline meeting the end of the new Monaro that did it for everyone.
