Smile Lot 6 on restoring dreams

Finally got to watch restoring dreams from Thursday about lot 6 great show, gee Alan Moffat gets emotional when he talks about the past. You can see a tear in his eye when he discuss's it.would like to have seen a bit more of the interveiw Alan and with some of the other guys as Fred Gibson was in the credits too.
Neils old school looked bigger than Richmond Tech where I did my apprenticeship
Any one know what trade school is it.

Cool Re: Lot 6 on restoring dreams

Ah Richmond Tech circa 1963/4/5
thats where I learnt about a 170 Falcon motor
with a supercharger making 200 hp
a bit of a laugh these days what with a standard 4 litre making 300 hp
I was into the Beatles Fender guitars and Volkswagens
that was where i did my time as a mechanic app
I think I learnt more at that school than I did on the job
anyway good to have those memories
thanks John

Loved the episode about Lot 6. Moving stuff.

Just wish it hadn't closed. Supercar scare being the thing mostly responsible for its demise, I'd guess.
