If that's the case, I'll be getting a refund, or throwing it on eBay... FAIL!

Yeah I did one at Eastern Creek in December and there were no Ford V8's which was abit disappointing but I didn't regret one bit. What a great experience

Bear in mind i am only talking about eastern creek and not any other track .Did the drive yesterday and as i said only holdens . apparently they have both at wakefield park in golburn and 5th gear was locked out . V8 race will not be returning to eastern creek .( they are who i went with last time )and the cars have 5th gear locked out . Last time it was 6th locked out in the holden and 5th in the falcon . now the cars hit the revlimiter at 180 approx and dont go to the 205 mark like last time.
So fast track racing at eastern creek no holdens or v8 race at wakefield park holdens and fords . rather than selling your experience change it for one at wakefield park .I did the exact opposite got my voucher for wakefield park and changed it to eastern creek.it was still fun but not as good as last time

I'd rather do the drive and enjoy the experience than give up for brand alliance...

The same theory seems to work for V8 Supercar drivers...

It may just be the Fords are damaged or something, when I went about this time last year, they only had 2 commodores, but 9 falcons, apparently due to crashes. So it maybe the case at the moment.

Am I right in saying they are ex-V8 supercars?
If so, it hardly makes a difference what brand of car they look like, the actual cars are almost identical.

My car had the original monaro cv8 guage cluster as they are specd up monaros with v8 supercar brakes and fast track racing handles the drive days as opposed to v8 race that used to do them . The cars themselves have 450 HP as opposed to the 620 v8 supercars and although i think 450 hp is plenty they could use 5th gear as the cars hit the rev limiter at 5500rpm half way down the straight in 4th gear

There is a new experience providor Fast track racing that only uses holdens at eastern creek . V8 race experience uses both

The cars are based on factory SS and XR8's and because Ford don't build the XR8 anymore, the fords they had probably got worn out and they couldn't replace them with a suitable car.

It is still a bummer though, maybe they should replace them with FPV GS's instead, they would be really fun.
