Hi all,
I have a bit of a headswell going on at the moment, I had a mate and his missus come around for dinner and drinks. He turns up with Gasoline Magazine and asks if I have bought it, I said havn't bought any mags since I got back from the US, Trying to catch up on bills and there being little work around at the moment on top of the missus losing her job we have had to cut back on unnecessary expenses. Anyways he says here have a quick look through this, there are some nice cars in here and it is the latest issue out. I get to pages 34 and 35 and here is my Eliminator gracing the pages with me leading a couple of my other mates cars coming on to the main straight at Lakeside. My spirits lifted dramatically and then started thinking how the f##k do I manage to keep all my cars as I really do not want let one go and especially not the Eliminator. Its now the 3rd time it has graced the pages of different mags at different events and I think this is the best shot I have seen of it in a magazine yet. Needless to say I have 4 copies now stuff the budget. Cheers Rodney End of rant just got to wait for reality to sink in again. |

Gasoline Magazine is a cracker of a read - you really should buy it on a regular basis.

It’s a great feeling having your car in a magazine. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had one of my utes in Performance Ford and Ute Action Magazine.
One of the best things about Performance Ford was that they also put my car in the calendar and sold over 20,000 copies of the mag that had the calendar attached, so in October 2003, there would have been the odd person or two checking out my ute for the entire month. It’s a great buzz, so enjoy it, Rod.
