As Racecraft said, there is no difference between XR6 and Falcon injectors. The only difference in the fuel system was a higher pressure fuel reg, which has been replaced with a stock one by some XR owners and yeilded more power.

All injectors are the same EA (MPI) to EL, including xr6.

As Rob said, the difference in fuel pressure on the xr was because of a different regulator.

I agree with Rob and Dave.
I have some EF XR6 ones if you want them.
:P
Im running AU injectors in my ED XR6 atm.
They make a slight differance.

You're running AU injectors??

How do you find the fuel mixture to be?

The AU injectors have a different impedence, so by all logic it should be running rich...

hmmm, that's interesting.

i have a set of AU injectors sitting in the garage, i wonder if i should chuck them in and see what happens...

Minor adjustments can always be done with the unichip anyway ;)

Interesting that the AU's work. If they are different impedence they will squire more (or less fuel) but the computer should adjust to a certain extent. Anybody know just how different they are?

I need a new set of injectors soon anyway, might try the AU's

I think the theory was E Series ECUs weren't good enough to fire AU injectors fast enough.

Hmmmm, it's an interesting turn of events.

I need more fuel, AU injectors flow more fuel - It's a match made in heaven! lol

I'm going to have a talk to Mark at Dynomotive (who does all my tuning work) and find out some more.

But if you're running them with the stock ecu, then there shouldn't be any problem with me using them because the unichip can probably sort out any mixture issues anyway.
