Guy got his bird taken off him by the RSPCA because he put it on the windscreen wiper of his car and went for a drive on the freeway reaching speeds of up to 100.

Now hes gone on a hunger strike outside the RSPCA HQ till he gets his bird back.

I was just drawing an analogy as to someone actually carrying through with a hunger strike to its ultimate conclusion . And yes I do know why Bobby Sands died , I also know his death was a conscious decision and at a time and place of his choosing unlike the thousands of innocent victims of the IRA who did not have that luxury .
