I think its:
JG23 - Falcon 500 Sedan from Broadmeadows plant
ED - Built November, 1965
I'm guessing its from an XP.

I think the model number goes something like this:
3 - Australian Passenger Vehicle (Vehicle Classification)
2 - Falcon Deluxe (Model)
1 - 4 Door sedan w/ bench seats (Body Type)
4 - Automatic 170CI 3 speed (Engine Displacement/Transmission)
Not sure about the 5 though, sorry.

'N' is Honey Gold and the three letters are for roof, centre and lower.

Trim code is:
5 - Falcon (Model Classification)
2 - Sedan (Model Type)
7 - Ivy Gold (Material Colours)
4 - Tutone Vinyl - Metallic (Material Combination)

Hope it helps.

Thanks for that. I found it in one of my late grandfathers tool boxes. But thinking back thinking back we've only had 1 xp and it was green.
