Well the power and times thread still has tripower as the fastest.
Have only "herd" of stiddy going faster but that time/story has a lot of holes in it.

Cheers

It depends on who you talk to.
If you go by the power/1/4mile thread, its Tripower, 14.2, if you want to believe what Stiddy ran, which I do, its a 13.7.

That can't be the fastest an I6 has managed to run, surely!

If out fastest time is with a stock cam and head it means no one is trying hard enough lol. My vote goes to Josh now he can stall properly!!

It will happen one day.. Speaking from experience, and being a long time 6 pack tragic, I have seen countless attempts to get these things going but there are a few things you need to get rite First you need some one with a passion for a challenge, next you need Money, then you need a tune shop on side with the same passion (or is that delusions) then you need more money then you need a decent engine builder then best you get some more money By this stage you realised that you dont get to drive your daily driver much any more and when you do it more than likely turned into a pig and the challenge is wearing a bit thin and yes you guessed it you need more money Finally after many many months or years and lots of time, effort, disappointments, and lets not forget the money you will have your dream N/A I6 AU .
All that being said Scotty has done it and will tell you thats about how it shaped up for him,. I did it back in the 70s with a low 14sec XW van ( yes I am that old ) and I hope to see any one here genuinely Step up to the plate with a I6 Au and if they are Melbourne based I will personally Transport their car to the Track for free While they make there attempt

would`nt it be interesting to see on a graph, the list that Sorted has put up showing times ,power etc, but also with diff ratios and rpm redline and perhaps tyre size for each car, we may see a pattern.
