Just the rad itself?
Probably only about a litre or two, tops. The whole cooling system (reservoir, rad, hoses, water jackets, heater etc will come to about 8 litres or so if memory serves me correctly.

Just the radiator or the whole cooling system? Not sure about the radiator alone but I think the cooling system should take about 15 litres give or take assuming your block is totally dry. The thing is, the bottom hose outlet from the block is higher than the bottom of the coolant gallery so the block can retain about 5 litres after you drain the system.
Hope that helped.

Just the radiator,im trying to work out if it is blocked. If it holds less that it should id assume it would be blocked.I have cooling issues and pulled off the water pump this morning and it was fine so i have removed the rad and want to check it out.

I think you'll struggle to work out if you have a blockage by the volume of the radiator because unless you know the exact volume including the inlet and outlet points you'll never work it out as it'd only take a few grams of crud to block your radiator enough to cause a problem and that could equate into less than 20-30ml by volume. I'd be laying the radiator flat on the ground and filling it with a good radiator cleaner and let it soak for 1/2 an hour then flush it and see what you get. If you get a significant amount of crap coming out I'd then attack it with a hose and back flush it with as much pressure as you can muster. Maybe use compressed air into the out pipe, with the radiator full, to blow out any stubborn contaminants.
