Hey guys/girls
It's come to a stage on the Fairmont on the drivers side that when you put up the window theres a shocking screeching sound. It's gotten worse and can't take it :P Just wanted to know if there's any easy way to get rid of it? Thanks  |

Silicone spray is a wet lube and will attract dirt go for graphite powder instead.

I got myself some silicone spray. Whats the correct way to apply it, can I just apply it directly to the glass? I've got no idea :P |

Is this done with the windows down while spraying? sorry for the stupidness. I'm not the best when it comes to this stuff lol

spry it in the tracks whilst the windows are down, the roll them up and down a few times, if they are still sticky and/or screeching re-do them.
I was told by a ford mechanic to do this after you wash your car as the water and detergent fries the tracks out. cheers.

I did it a few times as mentioned. It seems alot worse now, Probably did it wrong :P

a can of awsome is the best stuff i had the same prob mine got louder i was like wtf just spray more into it and it should stop wind the window up and down about 10 times and it sould be right
