Has anyone had issues with there wipers, our 07 model has always made that terrible noise when wiping from new, i told ford they replaced one (cost to me) but still no change, it doesnt rain much here in canberra so its not a big issue. Looking at the wipers there seems to be no force to push them down on to the windscreen, has any one else had this issue and resolved this by replacing them with something else? please let me know

Ohhh don't get me started on this subject.
I ended up putting on a set from the previous model (had to modify them) and now NO problems at all AND it's cheap as to replace the rubbers. I guess you know the standard ones are pricey? Some say that Bosch make replacements for this model but don't believe it they don't. In fact I put out the challenge for someone to prove me wrong - go on! |

thanks did a search and found them all i might try taking the arm off and bending it, just added more rainx too. But that will be a w/e job.

I had a LR Focus and the wipers were terrible. So I went out and bought Bosch Aerotwins, which are the wipers that are on the LS-LV. All fixed no problem after that. So to people who think they LR are good wipers I would beg to differ

none as far as I can see. LT would be same as LS yes?
Cheapest alternative is to use aftermarket blades made for LR. Just a few small mods and they're on. |

No pics but if you buy the aftermarket ones I detailed in a previous post simply drill out the pivot holes to suit the LT, LS pivots. Then slip them on and hold theassy on with small clips - that's the hard part, deciding on how to hold them in place. I just use small dia plastic tubing cut down to 4mm to make a plastic O ring.

I replaced the baldes on my TDCI last weekend with new Trico NeoForms from Autopro. They are a little more expensive ($34 a blade) but they fit straight in without a problem. Easiest blade's I've ever had to replace
