Default STOLEN: 1996 Ford EL XR6 (Vic)

Hi guys,

Yesterday (Friday July 3rd 2009) Some low life scum stole my car from Highpoint shopping centre. I was not even in the shops for 2 hours and I come out and the car is gone. I checked the parking lot 5 times to make sure I was in the right one.

Its a 1996 EL XR6 Falcon. Gunmetal Grey, 5 speed manual 144,000kms. Rego NYX 847

I have posted some photos of what it (did) looks like.

Thanks for the responses guys...

Somehow im betting against it turning up in one peice. Im still awaiting that dreaded phone call from the police.

Apparently according to Security it is the second XR6 to be stolen from that car park in a week.

At the end of the day its a car and its a minor loss compared to what can be lost but its the major inconvenience that it causes my girlfriend and I who relied on this car as our only transport. We just returned from a year in Canada and we have been trying to get ourselves on our feet back in Australia, hasnt been great so far

Tough break. But you never know. A friend had his car stolen from southland a few years back and they found it dumped in a side street about 18 months later. All the neighbours in the street thought it was someone elses car and eventually one of the neighbours got ticked off and called the council who called the police.
