To my knowledge just a RWC from Vicroads......
Someone else will probably be able to tell you of cost as i have no real experience in the matter....

i was told i need to get a blueslip? i did some research, thats only for sydney. so Vicroads only needs a RWC, but what if there is rego still on for the NSW plate, can i transfer it on. Im just looking at how much this process is.

thanks saiken for the help.

any other information will be great

Not sure about Vic, but here in NSW we loose all remaining Rego as the car has to be Blue slipped and new rego is given

You can not transfer the remaining NSW rego to Victoria. You will need to cancel the NSW rego and re register it in Vic as a new rego, also you will still need to pay a transfer fee and stamp duty. (3% value of purchase price)
