Smart man your son, anything is better than an AU. I couldn't think of a worst first car then a worthless, cheaply built, underporming car that isn;t even pretty to look at. (except a TE50 but he can't get on eof them).

He'll do fine witht he VT. Stop stressing.

I just love being ignored.

P'raps a wannabe 4wd with cheap and tacky interior is worse to some people?

Have a day to consider it.

Am I the only Holden fan on the face of the earth that doesn't mind the look of the AU Falcon? I'm not talking about the T-Series. Even though they're bloody nice, but the XRs, and even Fairmont.

Something about the AU XRs I really like. Probably the headlights. I never used to like them, but I have seen some very nice examples over the last couple of years.

Your not a Kiwi are you, because it sure sounds like your son is at least half sheep. :

Seriously though I wouldn't bother with the sabotage, from my friends experience, they were sabotaged from the factory, I would try and get him to test drive them back to back, and if he still prefers the Holden, and it's money, than it doesn't really matter what you think, that said, if it's your money, than he really shouldn't get much say in it.

Why do a lot of threads turn into an AU bash fest. For a community based on fords, it's a little confusing why people continue to bag one of their own. Their arguments are always the same. They even side with the Holden trolls. : I just wish people would build the proverbial bridge and just get over it. Life's too short to worry about such petty things.

Six pages and a few bans are too much for a tongue in cheek thread, it's supposed to be light hearted.
