Default Carburettor for 1980 Cortina TF 2ltr

Hi, does anybody have or know where I can get a weber a DGV or a DGAV carburettor with choke assembly for 1980 2 litre Cortina TF.

PM me and I will give you the email address of the guy I just bought a TF off of in Albury. He has a 4 cylinder wagon sitting out in the paddock that is going to be sent to the scrap yard, so is really happy to sell bits from it. ;)

The 2ltr webers are selling at bull poo prices on ebay.. That will sell probibly between 150-$200! Everybody else are using them now gemmini's,Hilux's etc..

I ended up getting a weber off a XE Falcon.. Only cost $50 from wrecker and seems to be working ok. The spark plugs still look good not rich or lean. They have really good choke setup and bolt up the same as 32/36..

will this carb fit the pinto manifold right up? what modifcations were done? this is very cheap i think i might just grab it

It bolts up to pinto manifold you just need to get longer studs. They have some of type solenoid for the idle circuit that wont allow the motor to idle unless it is hooked up. I just connected it to the ignition wiring. I didnt worry about the electric choke i just removed the choke plates..

The airfilter mounts are different shouldnt be to hard to adaped 32/36 filter...
