Default Service Info

My LR focus is due for its 60k service soon and since i've had nothing but trouble with my original dealer i was wondering if you guys knew of any good honest dealers in the melbourne metro area that i could send it to?

Also any idea how much i would be looking at for such a service?

Cheers Adam

I've had no problems with Coffey Ford down in Dandenong. Dad's bought about 3 or 4 cars from them now

I'd avoid City, President, or Jefferson (all the same company). Parts prices are higher than others

New Oak have been reasonably good

Westside?(Werribee) are meant to be pretty good

Bayford have always been pretty good

Duhig Ford in Essendon. The service crew there are disappointing to say the least and very unhelpful.

Could this service be done by my family mechanic or should it be done by a ford dealer? Is it going to cost an arm and a leg?

Car servicing can be done by any licence mechanic without voiding warranty so long as they use Ford Genuine parts.

Never again, Duhig.

I swear by Bayford in Epping, worth the drive. They had exceptional customer service and good follow up after each service, knew me by name and always looked after my car. They never once left a grease mark in the car or disappointed me. I can't remember prices because I paid staff price as a Ford employee but they were outstanding and the only ones I trusted with my car for 2 years before I sold it.

No, Bayford has a very good reputation, and Hugh Bayford is one of the best dealers you would ever meet. A gentleman

I agree, I just purchased my 3rd new car in 4 years from Bayford Coburg and have always found there pricing and aftersales service to be A1.

I disagree Adam, they were always friendly to everyone when I was there, had a top notch brand new facility, never once in my many visits did I see anyone having a barney, I definitely wasn't treated specially, all that changed for me was the price I pad.

I even took my suspension re-fit to them and they did it for me for about $200 labour. Brilliant.
