Default Magnecor leads

Just in case anyone was thinking of changing leads. Me and Ives went to Thundercords just recently and got a set of KV85 leads made up. So if you your after a set of leads they have the measurements and can make you up a set.

Cost for the KV85 was $150

That is competition-grade 8.5mm leads. Good stuff.

Can someone explain the benefit of doing this - unless OEM failed.

More efficient and/or smoother ignition? Good ignition leads are good compliment to good aftermarket spark plugs.

I know on the WP and maybe WQ the stock plugs and leads are prone to rusting caused by sitting water (There is a thread about it somewhere). My leads on cylinder 3 and 4 had this rust and I have noticed the car runs smoother especially above 4k rpm.

I swear by them. Good stuff guys. Did you get red or blue?

Piotr, sounding like the Fiesta is getting some very smooth upgrades(eg suspension etc)...what else are you up to?

We got the red (racewires) ones. The blue is Electrosport 8mm, and black is 7mm.
