A couple more snaps:

No pics of the GT sorry, the guy that owns these cars is very protective of them - people are always walking through his place having a sticky beak, I imagine some stuff has gone walkabout over the years too. The GT is dark coloured, black I think, but it's covered in dust, tree sap and lacking any kind of sheen so it's hard to tell . Ironically he's very well-aware of what all these cars are worth yet doesn't do anything with them. He has some really nice well-kept classics hidden away in those sheds though.

Would that yellow HQ or HJ panel van be a sandman having no side glass?

Just while we are on "yard finds"
There was a small town from me where the property was in the family for 100 odd years
Any car that was no longer required ended up there
There was customlines, mainlines, model ts all sorts and quite a large amount
Story goes property had to be sold
The local scrappy was rang to remove or on site squash the lot
Every single vehicle was removed via low loader trailers ,not 1 squashed
Whom ever got them woulda made a small fortune

i knew of a large collection of cars in private hands here in NQ, however the owners were um... from what i was told a bit funny (inbred hillbillies was one description).
I did try to get into the property one day to talk to them but found the place abandoned somewhat. I was about to yell out "hello" again when i came across several large pitbulls sleeping and decided to retreat slowly and quietly back through the big corrigated iron gates..

From the road can be seen up to 100 cars, some as far back as the 1950s... quite sad.
Plenty of Falcons (Xp to XDs) to be seen as well as Torries, Monaros and Kingswoods..

Solicitor in our local shopping cetre here in west Logan owns a tidy zd , it's parked and hardly driven so I asked about the price if for sale , I figured someone had been filling her head with silly ideas and mentioned a realistic price which was refused and my suggestion as being less than truthful... some people
Driving back from near her home I found a 40's international pickup which we are negotiating into a sale currently and imho it's cheap and much more interesting

I think a mate of mine saw the same car, got a pic from him today. He added it had a K code style rad support as well. Looks a ZC from the grille.

Grandad was a Ford man his whole life. Worked for Ford Dealerships here in the west when he got out of RAME. I think his was a marquis. Silver. Absolutely beautiful.

Doesn't look that bad Barnaby..although you never really know until you get up close. I saw an XB Falc on the back of a trailer on the Western Ring Rd the other week where about 4 inches of every panel from the bottom up was gone..half the bonnet was gone, looked like a piece of bread that had been half eaten. That was well and truly dead.
