Leather Interior Conversion Question

Hey guys, i was just curious how much it would cost to convert my XR interior to leather...i just LOVE the look of the interior with the leather!

i've seen them go on ebay for 5 or 600 before complete with door trims

when u search for things like this on ebay what do u type in in the search bar..everytime i try and search for something related to what im looking for it always comes back with little or no results? i just tried to look this up on ebay and it came back with nothin :(

you just type in au falcon or au fairlane etc

ring FTG down south .. or smalls wrecking(just up the road from RDP) or any other late model wreckers
be a few mangled fairmonts around sadly!!

those are just vinyl seatcovers not leather

5-600 is a bit hopeful I'm afraid. I paid $900 for full black leather interior (doors & trims) from an AUII XR, and I reckon that was a good price. Another member offered me $1100 for it before I'd even picked it up.

the genuine leather kits arent all leather...only the faces are...the rest is vinyl

Yeah I noticed that on mine, are the Ghia ones all leather?

I am pretty sure they are Matt. I noticed a difference when i was looking at buying an XR8. My old man's Ghia has different leather on the seats from what i can tell.
If i ever do a conversion, i would probably look into buying a wreaked Ghia of some sort.

Agreed 100%, I think you picked yours up for a great price! There's just not enough smashed/neglected ones around yet to have such affordable parts prices.

na mate..only faces are leather in any car.....same as bmw...only faces are leather...faces are vinyl

we do all genuine leather on seats...front seats are about 1800...rear seats about 1600....they are not cheap either....considering 2 hides are used....400-500 each hide....
