Default Mudflaps YES or NO???

Ive lost one of my mudflaps from the front drivers side of my car, now having a look at it without the mudflap I think it looks better..............so now Im thinking well should I remove the other three............but then worry if there are any seals or screw holes that would allow water in and cause corrosion????

I need to know by this w/end as all the wheel are coming off and thats when I will remove the exisiting mubflaps if I go down that path.

If you take them off just put the screws back in the holes

I agree. I didn't used to mind the mudflaps, but after breaking both back ones in one go (trying to drive up a 4WD slope), I took them off and it looks heaps nicer. Mind you, I now usually have mud splattered across the rear bumper!

Take them off if your just cruising but wack the rear ones on if you go to the drags, I'm sure most people know what I'm talking about lol.

I've taken them off recently and the car looks so much cleaner without them. If you have bigger tyres on the back, it looks even better again eg. I have 215's on the back and it looks sweet without the mudflaps hiding them.

I would remove mine but as i said, gravel/mud driveway plus, they have rubbed the paint off, and i dont want mudflappy, rusty outlines on the EL.
Up to you though, it was the first thing i did on the XR8 and the EA

no car ever rusted from not having mudflaps, in most cases they hold in moisture etc where they join/bolt to wherever they are.

No.
I meant surface rust where the plastic has rubbed on the body and through the paint.

I have them on me Ghia to stop a bit of stone/dirt chips on lower mouldings , as i live on a fair amount of dirt road .
They have a tendency to come loose at the screws , not a bad idea to pull them off now and again - clean up where they go on etc..etc .. and reattach
making sure they are tightly screwed on
Car still looks Mean . 'Tis up to the individual ...
