Default battery box

hey

i own a 02 focus is it really vital to have the battery box on it?

i moved to Darwin and 1 battery has already died due to heat, will it save the battery to remove or do more harm then good?

It'll cost ya but, it'll be well worth it.

it's a 12V racing battery, looking around $300
I know you won't be interested but, if you are I can put you in touch with the people who sell them.

Holy **** FRA I hope you deal drugs because no honest money earner should be paying $300 for a battery - especially not for a road car.

The battery box shouldn't make too much difference, it's the whole engine bay that's hot in the LR Focus. I'd stick to it, the box is simply there to help contain spillage and not overly effective in keeping it warm/cool.

LOL
It's half the size of a normal battery.
No topping up, can be installed upright or on their side, NO electrolyte leakage ( even if the outer case is damaged )

Cruise through a local street and find a for sale sign, cut a section off it and shove it around your battery *thumbs up*
