Well , the Friday/Saturday Meet went Really Well ...

Went up in the G&D Car Carrier with Whoosha , Arriving at Heathcote Roughly 7pm , Due to an Accident on the Hume,

Saturday was Great , Russells Jet Van scaring the SHI7 out of Everyone , a Rocket Sled Car , Fireworks , Demolition Derby which Whoosha and Myself Fixed some cars to run in .. Then Russell Setting them all on Fire with the jetVan

Apart from that , there were LOTS of Quick LS1s there , something the Ford Boys need to start Catching .. The Higgins Ute and the CAPA Utes were Fast ,with CAPA taking the Fastest MPH over the Day , and Higgins Picking up Fastest ET ..

2 Day event should be for the ford one too !

Hey gang well just woke up,(getting way to old for theses all nighters) been a big weekend for me and my helpers as usall a top weekend of raceing met up with a few of the FORD guys even if this day has a LS1 title there were enough of the big gunns out to keep both sides of the camp happy From the 9sec club Johnyy NO GAS to Allan & Leanne from the MOE engine stables new mk1 cortina and a Crazzy te corty with a crossflo 6pack making 12s na dropping to a insane 9.7s on the gas to our own BLU power 10sec champ and the dyo 20sec Aussie enhancements ute :Reverend: (sorry Craig had to slip that in) was good also to see some of our AFF gang who make the trip up to watch . Hope to see Kevs blown XR and Cams tuff pursuit back out on the track again soon, Chriss + Craig did look a little lonley in the outlaws class Russle from Heathcote park has some serious issues from his pyro technic exploits to his Insane 12 sec jet van that doubles as as srcap meatal Furnace well heres a few picckys I got as usal its ony a cheapy camera but it does the job :
mostly FORD friendly :the_finge

some off my favourites

Catching Johny No Gas of the line is a bit tricky wit a slow camera

and just a couple of them from over there

EErrrrrrrrrrrrr thanks Whoosh (good to catch up, i hope i'm as active as you at your age (62 ish), yeah got a couple of 12.4's earlier and was starting to feel comfortable in the car then had both rear leaf springs break, not much fun doing 100 mph all over the place .......LOL....so there was only 3 cars in the FORD bracket i decided to just cruise down the track, i was consistent 19.49, 19.29, 19.74 but got beat in the 1st round.

Still had fun, my missus yet again went through to the final in the BOTS class in her manual SS commodore and picked up the runners up trophy and $200.00 cash and my mate Phonsy from GM Motorsport/Rip Shift did the same so all in all it wasn't too bad.

Got to do some work on the rear now these big heavy manual ute's just don't like being launched this hard.

Cheers Craig

It was a great weekend of racing :sm_headba

The LS1 car's are getting very quick now :

Good to see a few of the Ford boys/cars out there this weekend too :

I even saw my favourite "drag racer Chris" from blue power race too :sm_headba

A 2 day Ford day would be great, any 10 second Bosses out there that can handle 2 days :

Also good to meet a few of the Ford forum members too (Whoosha)

Jim
