Default Random tool: Gear ratio and flywheel torque calculator

Ok so this is a calculator for calculating ideal gear ratios and what speeds you will reach in each gear at redline (or whatever rpm you specify). It also gives you RPM at a given speed, for each gear. Random info like rollout and overall ratios is also given. Good for 7 gears, ie 6 forward and one reverse.

The second part of the document converts tractive effort (given on chassis dyno graphs) into flywheel torque. It needs tractive effort, overall ratio, and tyre size information for an input. It also has no calculation for drivetrain losses.

I already have a base set of numbers in there for you. Inputs are blue, outputs are red. please don't type in the out boxes, it makes the calculator useless.

Very handy mate ;)

I made a similar (messier) one a while ago, but it was a table comparing diff ratios to gearbox ratios and kph/rpms for the combinations.

Good work!
