Default AU bottom end ED xr6 head

From what i read this will work as my car has done 270k and is cheaper for a wreckers bottom end than rebuild.

What will the compression be''Anything to watch for?

if your not decking the block or head with an au gasket it should be fine. u can get away with a 20-40 thou off the head/block but wouldnt go much higher.

What happens with the power steer tensioner and running the water pump/clutch fan?

A std AU bottom end is identical to an AU XR6 one isnt it?
