Default Rims + 4 X 4 wooden plank = ouch

Hey All,

Check this out, My parents were driving my old EL up to Sydney and hit a 4 X 4 plank of wood.

The pics speak for themselves!!!

yer just the one they are so lucky, hitting it at 110 on a highway, could have done so much damage.

It fell off the back on the truck in front of them, they swerved but just hit it.

Ouch, did you get the details of the driver of the truck. Ideally the driver and or company should pay for a new wheel, tyre and wheel alignment if needed.

Photo of the plank of wood?

Plank implies a greater dimension in one plane than the other when viewed from the cross section...

But yeah, any photos? (I love wood)...

i had the same thing on the way to jindy... had JC's entire bodykit in my boot, and rooted out the whole tickford rim. ended up getting my new wheels that day :P

Looks like a whole new set of wheels may be required.

i had a very similar set of wheels from year b4 stalkers and one got damged due to someone trying to steal them unfortunately advanti are very quick to discontinue wheels so a new set was required in my case although stalkers are still available in bob jane tmarts in bendigo they have 17* 8 in stock in e series offset
