Default A Kodak Xmas thanks to Harvey Normans

Well must be the festive season again as thismorning my Wife and I trundled down to the local HaNorm store in the Mount.

Looking to spend maybe $200-250 on your average digital camera we looked at a cheapie Kodak that was in their cabinet for $140ish wasnt really what we had in mind and pointed out the $248 one in the catalogue.

"Sorry mate sold out" was the reply so we asked if could get one by Xmas and they made a couple of calls and no way in hell. So ok bye bye will go else where then hang about they insist and ended up getting the new Kodak easyshare C875 value $399 A battery charger and lithium batteries value $99 and a 512k memory card value $149 all for $399

Awesome deal I think and has made my wifes Xmas so all is good.

Moral of the story HAGGLE to your hearts content

Merry Christmas to All

I bought a lower model Kodak the week b4 for $99 from Dick Smith and it was a piece of shjte, at least they have a 2 week "change of mind" policy....

(Oh and i got the camers down to $130 as well lol)

Just make sure you confirm with Kodak what the largest compatible size card for your camera is. Not every device works with some of the bigger cards like the 4GB SD.

No, but he did say it was a Kodak EasyShare C875, and a quick Google on that will tell you it takes SD cards, so I would hope they didn't supply him with an xD.

and while I'm at it...

cheapmemory.com.au - 512MB xD - $64 // 1GB xD - $93

I was gonna say, I just bouight my son a 512 Fuji SD card for $31.

I rarely shop at Hardly Normal. Odd good price, and then they try to stitch you up. The product is fine, but same as elsewhere, and nearly always a fair whack cheaper elsewhere.
