Default Ford Ranger Cup...What the?

Extract from Cricket Australia, go the the website if you want to see proof and image of the logo

Australia's premier domestic one-day cricket competition has a new naming rights sponsor with the announcement on Wednesday that Ford had jumped on board for the 2006-07 season.

The Ford Ranger One Day Cup will replace the ING Cup for the coming season.

Can anyone help me out here? What is the Ranger? Is it a replacement for the Courier?

I was told that Ford will be updating the Courier at the end of this year with the same model that was released as the Ranger at the Bangkok Motor Show earlier this year, but it would be called the Courier. The only photos i have found so far are the ones of the US Ford site of the Ranger

Any thoughts people??????????
