2012 focus sport park assist malfunction

Hey guys.
Need to pick your brains.
Driving home from work last night sitting in traffic the car went in like limp mode were there was no accelerator and a message came up on the screen park assist malfunction service required, it was unable to select gears and when i pushed it off the road i turned the envine off but it wouldnt start.
I could move the gear stick between drive and park but on the dash it wS stuck in nuetral.
Any ideas please
