Hi all,
On the weekend my mate, my girlfriend and I went for a trip down the Great Alpine Road. I let my buddy, who is on his red P's have a drive of my car and sure enough he was pulled over by the cops in about 30 minutes.. Now, we are all within the age of 16-22 (me being 20 and on my full license), but the catch is that it clearly states on the VicRoads website that when a fully licensed driver is in the front passenger seat the passenger restrictions do not apply.. Quote:
Anyway, he went back to his car and did the license and registration check ups etc. then come back and said he'd let my mate off with a 'warning'. So, does anyone here actually know what the rules are? Was my mate in the wrong or does the officer not know the law properly? |
