Default Harro's E-series reflection - First Drive, Canberra too melbourne

Well Picked up my Beasty yesterday morning.

Day starts off badly as i take my work bag to the airport, filled with spanners, screwdrivers etc..... oops

Anyway.

Get to canberra, Scott picks us up in his GT-P (Awesome car mate!). Get to his house, i crank her over and im ready to die. The sound of her, i couldn't wait to start driving.

Paperwork etc gets done, have a bit of a chat to scott and his wife, and off we go.

First thing i notice is comfort. I thought i could go to sleep in those seats. Next thing i notice is the economy. So good!

Get to gundagai, and pull over at the maccas. I can smell Fuel. There is a nice puddle underneath the car. What the hell i think. Crank her over again and it starts gushing. Turn her off, back up and call NRMA.

By this time its 12:50. it's 42 in gundagai, and were waiting in the sun. Great.

NRMA come after 30-40 mins and works out it was left over fuel from when the fuel pump was replaced, mixed with me filling the tank and the heat expanding it.

THANK GOD

got home at 7pm. Did the journey in 1 1/4 tanks and the trip said she averaged 10.4l/100k

So thank once again to scott and his wife for all there help. I promise i won't put a bodykit on it scott!
