I was just looking at the results from the Shannons Auction held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and spotted a VH Charger, that sold for $140,000!!! It is an inline6 265ci, 3speed manual.
More of a run down can be found at: http://www.shannons.com.au/pages/auc...10090PT89063V4 About the 3rd Charger I've seen go over $100,000! It wasn't the highest price paid, that went to a 1948 Mercedes Cabriolet at $350,000. You always wonder what happens to cars like this... are they ever driven again???

where have you been, I thought it was like that for a while now. Soon you wont even be able to get any X series V8 (factory) without paying a pricey sum.

Worth every Cent as well............
Wonder what a complete original un-molestered E38 Charger would sell for? That was Tim Smith's old car that he sold a few years ago and I can tell you he sold it for no where near $140,000............lol

My old E49 sold for 95k recently. 39,000 mile car, had won trophies at car shows etc. Was immaculate. The fella got it cheap at that money.

$98k for this one at the Shannons Sydney auction on Feb 12:
http://www.shannons.com.au/pages/auc...C840Q18WBC2J6K It was nice, but far from mint. They are definitely on the move in the musclecar market.

OH god I'd love a Charger!!! You must remember though, the average price for a charger isn't that price...those ones are collectors ones. Although they are getting more pricey...

I reckon all chargers will be worth some big dosh soon, and considering a nice charger can still be had for under 10g's today i think they are good buying.
Personally i wouldnt mind having a Valiant Pacer, because i think they might have a bit of value in them.
