Default Ok so I'm off to melbourne..again!!

Hi all! Many of you know me, and for those who don't, I'm a 20 year old lad from Adelaide, my names Naish, love my fords and, after a sudden spur of the moment decision, I'm going to Melbourne tomorrow morning to celebrate New years eve at Sensations dance party. My mate won tickets and is shouting me the fuel so I just figured, why not?? I'm only young once, have a bit of cash on the credit card and loved Melbourne last time, enough to want to drive over again. Leaving around 9.30 tomorrow morning, got a hotel room my mate and his missus are staying in that we can crash in, plenty of beer and jacks in the car, what more could I want? Who wants to follow my progress as I roadtrip? Well I'll update regularly either way so stay tuned!

Yeah, post up your progress. I enjoyed it last time as you navigated through Melbourne. Although i cringed at some of whoosha's directions.

My eldest daughter is going to sensations on new years eve. Look out for her, she'll be the one dressed in white.

May not see me as much as last time strangely enough

I will follow this though, you leaving at 9.30 real time or 9.30 backwards SA 1985 time?

More chance of Adelaide becoming an "up to the minute" metropolitan capital than there is of me doing any work today.

got used to them last time, still a bit of a shock though! Stopped at tailem bend truckstop for breakfast consisting of a smoke, FU, chips and a pie. Dad gave me 100 dollars and mum gave me 200, so I'm set, food and fuel wise. Awesome!!

I got my credit card with about 400, and my holiday pay of about 250 left, and my mate has around 500 on him for the trip, so not too bad I don't think. We just arrived at tintinara, man, so many people must hate me, I'm only allowed to drive at 100 but the speed limit is 110, many overtakers...loving it though, roadtrips are awesome fun. Next stop, bordertown. Stay tuned!

So, have fun last night?

Drinking real alcohol would have been a fair change from the moonshine you guys would be used to

Nah I'm making up my own really, haha. Made bordertown by 12.45, so I'm happy with that. Group of kids passed us a while back and saw us at the servo, few nasty glances.. They where driving a Holden, typical ;)

Adelaide boy goes to Melbourne, hey?

Hope you had a haircut ( mullets stand out for all the wrong reasons in Melbourne) and left the beanie and flanno at home mate.

Just kidding.

Love Adelaide actually and would live there if I could.

Enjoy yourself mate! You're only 20 once.

arrival!! In the mantra hotel off queen street, coming to check out the evening life now. Let the drunken rampage begin!

-disclaimer- I do not condone alcohol abuse in anyway. -disclaimer-

Skyline boy earlier, boxes himself in near balarat on an overtking lane, seemed to think it was my fault. Stopped at balarat and copped a bit, ohwell who cares he was just some kid in an uncomfortable skyline hehe. Who wants to catch up?
