I was browsing another forum and have come across a guy building a 67 nova in the states... are my eyes decieving me or is that a xb in the background of the top build up pic?

Definatly not, the rear repeater lens is horisontal, not vert, and the guards dont have the scallop line around the wheel arch, rear window is a little too raked, more likely a chevelle or something similar

yeah, thats cool. I figured it most likely would be an american car..... But there are a few of our xa-xc's over there apparently.

I think it's an early 70's nova which is very similar. The slope of the c pillar just isn't quite right foe an xb, no vent visible, but still hard to make out. It also appears in another photo a bit further down which shows it's not an xb.

No its no XB. But dont be surprisedes to see more than a few XA-B-Cs stateside the Aussie Tudor Coupes have become a sought after collectors item.
