Well finally I can show all FF'ers some pics of what is currently my life for around 18 hrs a day. I am really, really happy to see it at this point, as are the owners or the business, and all I can say is that the motivation to get the doors open is running very high.
Without further ado, I present b2tf's new workplace v1.1. The important bit! These things are simply awesome. They have a top speed of around 70kms/hr, have excellent control and are very, very comfortable to drive. Genuine NASCAR tyres from the USA, imported to make the place look just that little bit better. When freshened up and in place they look amazing. Sadly they wont fit on my rims. Fun bit. Nuff said. Many more where this came from. I'm told this particular character is the Events Manager and also handles sponsorship and advertising etc. Shady bugger but damn can he drive! Speed at work. Thats all I'll show for now. In the new year we'll be launching big time.

How much thought and chopping/changing has been put into the track layout?
I'd imagine.. Set up, cruise around, change it & repeat til you're all happy. Best of luck with it.

FF members will be looked after on pricing for sure. Just let me know when you want to come down and I'll make the neccesary arrangements. Most days you can walk in whenever you want and go karting, but if there's a function etc on you'll have to wait.
The track was something we put together and then just basically drove on and modified until we were happy with it. Its a great track with plenty of turns to test out your sliding and cornering skills, but also lots of room to really plant it and go screaming down the straights. The karts are a fantastic little package, they corner really well and definitely have a lot of pace in them. We'll definately organise a few FF meets here!

It's not too far away guys, we're not letting anybody in just yet because there's still a bit of work to do, but I'd say we'll be open in about 3 weeks. Possibly sooner, but as soon as I know, I'll let you know! ;)
From what I'm told there is plenty of interest around the place, we havent started our advertising yet but there is a bit of a buzz around the place. If you happen to see my car you'll see a dirty great big Rev-Arena Sticker on the back window, and it gets plenty of looks. It's definately no half assed effort - all indoors, air conditioned, full kiosk facilities, function room with DVD, Projector Screen etc, trackside viewing area, racing suits and helmets for all drivers, timing system with individual lap time printouts so you know what times you did, and plenty more.....

REV-ARENA sounds like a good name for a FRANCHISE, guess its early days but you may need another challenge in 12 months if all goes well.

Looking excellent!
I used to work in the same kind of place back in Scotland..the biggest Karting center in Scotland ( http://www.raceland.co.uk ), I was a senior race marshal...but did all the odd jobs too....was a perfect job, absolutely LOVED it and wouold do it again any day! As well as the indoor track, they have a 930m outside track with twin engined 70MPH karts....GREAT fun in the icy weather!!! They have a yearly 24 hour event, people would come from all over Europe to compete! Im sure you'll love working there getting it all going!
