I think I saw St. Peter in one of those photos....

Great photos recoil. What a superb gathering of cars.

I always thought minilites/superlites would look good on an XC.

Congratulations to the organisers and participants, a shame I couldn't make it.

Well what can we say. I cannot remember having more fun on a weekend away.
Firstly, meeting up at Ford H.O. for the cruise up, meeting new people, some of whom i knew of from these forums, and to be able to place faces to user names.
To every one that we already knew and to the people we meet over the weekend, what a FANTASTIC bunch of people to meet and socialize with, you were great to be with.
The highlights of my weekend were, as previously mentioned, to win the observation run with my geographically challenged navigator and wife, Tracey.
It was extremely close, with us winning by only half a point!. The prize was fantastic. A 1/18 model of John Goss' 73 XA which he so kindly signed for me.
There were some great moments on that run, one that springs to mind was a lime glaze RPO and around 1.40ish. Gee i love that car.

The absolute highlight of the event was the procession of 70 odd coupes rumbling their way through the main street of Echuca, a sight that may not be repeated anytime soon.

Another great moment was the hens night being held in the function room of the hotel that we had dinner at on Saturday night, but i'll leave that for another time .

To the organizers. What a great event!, you certainly pulled it off. From what we saw everything ran like clockwork, so well planned and organised. Congratulations to you all for all your hard work.
And to our Bathurst legends, John Goss & Murray Carter, thanks for sharing your experiences and time with us all.

I will post pics up soon. I need to go to work to recover!!

Oh, and to the bloke trying to sell the coupe on the tandem trailer.
YOU ARE A RIGHT TOOL! :

I think the tool of the weekend award belongs to the guy trying to sell that Coupe. Was his name Wayno by any chance??

And as for the coffee table...I will take 4 please Any colour...not fussed. I will even take the non optional extra - rust! Thanks for posting those pics Chris. They look great! - Colleen
