I AM!! :eclipsee_
Long story short, I bought Laminge's old EB last night. I was in the market for a daily for ages, and was looking for a EB2 or ED GLI/Futura on gas, something sensible, but that all went out the window when I saw the value for money in Gary's old beast. It sounds and goes pretty mad, and a Unichip with a good tune would top it all off nicely. Buuuuuuuutttt, it's going on gas as soon as I get it on the road. Gas should make it run pretty sweet as well. Anyways, as far as I know the mods are as follows: -T1 TS50 4 Speed auto -Rebuilt motor with 20,000km -Custom made extractors -Sports exhaust -From what I can tell AUII XR8 manifold with EBGT Engine cover?! -Unsure of heads, but Gary reckons there's a fair chance they're GT40 or something, how do I identify these? -AU Twin thermos -9" Diff (for sale) It's also got: -Sprint side skirts and rear bar, and some no name front bar -Sunroof -17" AJR Directors (for sale) -Some funky *** steering wheel that's apparently rare (possibly for sale) -Recaro seats re-trimmed in the EB Ghia material, absolutely mint! -Alpine head unit with screen and VCD player etc. Plans are obviously to put it on gas ASAP and get it on the road, then it'll cop a respray and hopefully I'll finally be able to use some Prismatique on a car! I've wanted to for ages. Then it'll get dumped on stockies till I can afford some 19's lol. All of that's on a pretty tight budget I've allocated for it that I am going to stick to but I reckon I can manage ;) I've got a new job now and I'm working hard, but I'm trying to save now as well lol. Anyways, I'll post some pics up after I wash it. Haven't been able to do anything to it as yet, I'm working all weekend and my next day off is Tuesday. Thanks to Gill for helping pick it up Sundeep |

Why the hell would you sell the 9" out of it!!
Rather than go gas, get the vortech back on it and let it run 11's again.

man that's old news Sunny. :P
Nah congrats mate, i'll have to come check it out. I might be interested in that diff i'm assuming it's LSD and decent ratio. Putting it on gas would be a smart move. Now you can wind up the boost on the EA and tow it to calder with your sik V8 torque. : Anyone remember the thread about the Headgasket and the V8 w4nk3rs! |

Got like 4 people interested in the rims, if anyone else is please PM me. Highest bidder wins 'em.
Who changed the thread title lol? C'mon...it's not that controversial and I'm only taking the outta myself, you know, with my double standards and all. Quote:
I don't know what the 9" is worth and Gary doesn't know the ratio. I can tell you the LSD is tight but, very tight ;) I will calculate the ratio and get back to you Wayne. I don't know what they're worth but I'm thinking in the vicinity of $550? Sundeep |

Sounds good Sunny. Are you going to respray it the same colour, or are you going for another BA colour?

It's going to be sprayed the same Everglade green, but hopefully I'll put some Prismatique stuff in it to give it that fancy look. The handles will be done at the same time.
