Default Exhaust tip

I have a 2.5" exhaust and am looking at putting a tip on it. I would like a twin tip but dont want it to look like it goes from 1 - 2 because that would look bad and very try hard : . Do any of you know if you can hide it so from the back and sides it looks ok because i have been told it is not posible in which case i will look at a single tip.

Sorry i was not too clear.

I have 2.5" single exhaust and want a tip that goes from 1 pipe into the twin tip so it does look like the photo you posted.

LG'S old rims or his new ones? They are (and were) both awesome choices.

If the fitter does a good job, and sits the tip in far enough. You'll never see where the pipe splits into two. Just make sure, you tell the guy, you don't want it to sit too far out, and the rear bar will cover it up.

Cheers

They're Starcorp Racing wheels. That picture is actually an old one, with my old wheels, with my twin tips. I now have some angled twin tips.

Personally for a standard rear bar, I'd say go the straight twin tips. I now have the angled ones, as they more suit my bodykit.

Cheers

Does anyone know of a good twin tip for the rear ts50 bar? I have twin 2.5 in there at the moment but they are way to small. I need a tip that will fill it up completely.

Changing the exhaust system soon to 3" (because of turbo) and want to have a tip ready to go on, I found the tips at the shop are usually a crap selection.

My current tip;

If you go to an exhaust shop you should be able to get a single oval tip very cheap around $30. When they go to fit it show them exactly how you want it as my first tip I ever got was sticking out way to far.

Twin 3" Duffman. Otherwise, twin 2.45". And maybe just a straight, with no angle?

Twin 3" dump pipes. Looks tough and sounds better with the noise rebounding off the road!

Saw a set of Monaro tips ... the thicker outer edge that tapers down .... I think it's HLC's Dad's BA XR8 that has these .... now they look tough. Oh they are angled tips as well

i know its a BA, but i dont care. :P (keep in mind that this is a dual exit muffler- and i give credit to the Herrod guys, that their stuff is good. the original herrod tips had to be cut off with an OXY- good stuff)

now here is what i currently have, how racy is that raw pipe. and the tips going on shortly.

sorry to the dial up users :P

Where'd you get your twin tips from HLC? I got my exhaust put on this morning :hihi: but they rang the supplier of one that looked just like that and reckon they don't make them anymore! That one you've got is the one I'm after though, so any details would be great! Got mine done at the same place GlennAUII did, sounds pretty tough, and only 200 bucks (but no tip obviously) for 2.5" mandrel bent with one muffler. I might get a ressy put on later, but it doesn't drone so I'll see. I like it a lot at the moment!
By the way, when I was in getting it done there was a black T3 in there getting massive pipes done, and it was awesome. I don't know if the owner is on the forums, but the exhaust bloke reckoned it was putting out 550hp. Sweet.
