Default Melbourne’s fuel cycle

Shell, BP and 7/11 (Mobil) appear to be raising the flag according to PetrolSpy. If nobody salutes we might be ok.

It has to be better than fluctuations of 30+ cents a litre!

It looks like 30+ coming everywhere real soon.

I wish it was only a 30c/L fluctuation in Sydney

Was $1.22.9/L the other day .... then it shot to $1.72.9/L .... and that was only E10

I filled up yesterday with E10 at the ‘bargain price’ of 139.9....I suspect it will appear such v shortly.

I filled up with BP98 today at $1.54/L. 91 was still at $1.34/L. I couldn't believe my luck. It seems like half the servos in Melbourne have gone up to $1.74/L for 91 while the rest have stuck with $1.34/L. I've never seen a discrepancy like that last for near on a week.

lets do something about it!! Whilst I was overseas in Tunisia, the government raised the price of petrol and the whole country came to a standstill pretty much until the prices were put back down. Australians need a staunch approach like this.

I wish I could share your optimism, would be great for Aussie solidarity and mateship, but this is Apathralia - no one gives a hoot until it happens to them.

in Wollongong where i live fuel was 1.27 for e10 yesterday, today it was 169.9 at the big branded servo's
i was driving past in my 2.2tonne v8 wagon which was on 1/4 so i found the next private servo which was still 1.27 so i pulled in and brimmed it
thats frigging 42c/l which on a 70l fill is $30 extra

Yeah, ignoring big savings, particularly with E10 as a 95 substitute, doesn’t make sense to me.
