They must have sorted this out with the MDs. I've towed my trailer, which has LED lights, and they all worked as they should and there were no errors messages on my MD Trend. The display indicated " Trailer Connected " when I first started the car and then indicated "Trailer Disconnected" the next time I started the car after disconnecting, which was the next day.
I was also pleased to notice that the reverse sensors automatically turned off however, the reverse camera gave me an excellent view of the trailer.
