Just came across this post so it's probably too late by now but if it's the same setup as the earlier models there should be a small clip at the back of the winder which needs to be removed.

Using a small flat bladed screw driver spread a gap between the winder and backing plate look between and you will see the clip with another screw driver ease forward till it pops off ! Easy! Fitting is reversal of removal but put clip back on winder and push on till clicks in place oh don't forget the backing plate !! It can also be done using a small piece of cloth and feeding it in behind the plate and the winder and pulling it down and around till the clip pops off, just be careful it doesn't pop off and go flying, it could be hard to find if it does :(
